Frequently Asked Questions

What software development services does XPikTech offer?

XPikTech builds custom eCommerce platforms, B2B portals, subscription and SaaS products, CRM, ERP, and warehouse management systems, along with plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and Shopware. We also build the integrations that connect those systems, the AI automation that handles routine work inside them, and the support that keeps everything running after launch. Some clients hand us a whole project, others add our developers to their team, and plenty bring us one stubborn feature.

What does your software development process look like?

Every project moves through five stages. Discovery and estimate first, where we scope the work and you keep the document either way. Then architecture and planning, two-week build cycles with working software at the end of each, testing and launch, and ongoing support once you’re live. You see tracked hours throughout, so the process stays as open as the pricing.

Should we build custom software or customize an existing platform?

Customizing an existing platform is usually the faster and cheaper route when Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365 already covers most of how you work. A custom build starts to win once the gaps get expensive, when workarounds and side spreadsheets are what’s holding the process together. Walk us through how you work and we’ll recommend one route or the other, including when the right answer is to build nothing yet.

Can you work with the systems we already use?

Yes. We regularly extend and maintain software other teams wrote, and we build secure connections between eCommerce platforms, CRMs, ERPs, WMS, and outside services so they share data on their own. Whatever in your current setup is worth keeping, we’ll build around it.

How much does custom software development cost?

The price depends on scope, which means the features, integrations, user roles, and performance your project needs. A single plugin and a full platform sit worlds apart. What stays the same is how the pricing works: transparent hourly rates, a clear estimate up front, and real hours tracked against it so you can see where the budget goes. The quickest way to a number is to tell us your plan and let us take a look.

How do we get started?

Send us a description of what you want the software to do, in your own words. We’ll come back with a plan, a timeline, and a quote, and you decide from there. Nothing is committed until you’ve seen all three.
