In this post, I want to show you the easiest way to build NFT Stock without coding. NFT or Non-fungible token – by its nature, this is one of the many tokens existing today, but it has its own characteristics. The main feature of NFT is that each token is unique and cannot be replaced with another one. This feature ensures that each such object is unique. NFT Stock is a marketplace where NFTs are bought and sold.
What is it for? Basically, using NFT, you can create unique certificates for digital objects, for instance:
Ownership of the NFT token confirms the fact of ownership of the digital object and rights, so you can use and sell this object.
WordPress is the most popular CMS in 2021 (43.81% of all sites use WordPress). For this reason, plugin developers are actively developing new plugins for WordPress and keeping up with the times, extending existing WordPress capabilities.
Currently, plugins for creating an NFT marketplace on WordPress have begun to appear, so we can play with them. Today we’re going to create a test project and describe all the difficulties and details that we will face in the process.
You upload your media to your WordPress site > Transform your files to NFT > Sell them through major NFT marketplaces. In this way, you can create your own website to sell your personal digital objects or create a service where users can upload and sell their artworks, so you will be an intermediary and earn a commission. There are a lot of options for using such solution, and it all depends only on your imagination.
I will not show the process of creating Metamsk accounts and the process of purchasing Etherium or BSC. These are fairly simple steps that are described in small detail.
Let’s start by creating an account on the NFT Storage website. We need to take 3 simple steps:
Enter your email, click on the “Sign up” button and confirm your email. As a result, you see a similar page:
Here we need the API Keys link, click on it and click on the “+ New Key” button, then enter a name of the API key, in our case “xpiktech nft store”:
Finally, we go to the page where we see the recently created token. It will be useful in the future, so save it in a safe place and continue.
We will describe this step briefly as the process is simple and you can find manuals in small detail elsewhere.
All we need to do:
Go to WordPress Dashboard / wp-admin, log in and go to the “Plugins” section. After that, press the “Add New” button and enter Kredeum NTFs into the search field, press the “Install Now” button, and after installation the “Activate” button.
After activating Kredeum NTFs, the NFTs section will appear in the left menu, go to it and integrate your Metamsk account with the NFTs plugin by clicking on the “Connect to Metamask” button.
Note: You must have the Metamask extension installed and a wallet created (I mentioned this at the beginning of the article).
Finally, after successful Metamask connection, go to the NFTs Settings section and enter the API key that we’ve created in NFT Storage into the IPFS_NFT_STORAGE_KEY API field, and click on the “Save” button.
That’s it, after that, we just have to add the media files and put them up for sale. Uploading the file:
After loading, switch the page to the “List” view, because it looks like a table by default, select your file, open the drop-down list and select “Archive to IPFS”.
After that, in the same line with your file, you see the “MINT NFT” button, after clicking on this button the Metamask extension opens and asks you to confirm the operation of creating the NFT token.
When the operation is completed, you can click on the green “SELL NFT” button near your photo and go to the OpenSea website where your file will be posted.
Note: To do this, your Metamask must be connected to your OpenSea account. Connection occurs when you create an account on opensea.io.
That’s it! Finally, you can sell your digital files like NFTs using WordPress.
